Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

Cyan was rescued in the direst of situations. She was weak, thin, frail and covered with mange. Cyan is estimated to be 1.3 yrs. old and is either a full-blooded Siamese or Siamese mix. Cyan has grown into a beautiful, affectionate and loving small female that has the spirit of a gentle soul, yet has proven to be a real strong survivor. She plays surrogate mom to all the foster kittens that come her way and she keeps a watchful eye on them as they play. This kitty deserves a loving home, preferably with a person that is home all day and can devote the love and attention she deserves to make a lifelong lasting bond. Cyan will be shy at first, but it is the experience of this foster mom that she will make a loving devoted kitty to her human that will bring loads of happiness to the person she that bonds with her. She is a smart girl and has learned her name readily. She is playful, alert and loves sleeping snuggled right next to her foster mom at night, (along with a foster kitten or two nestled under her arm). Candy keeps asking this foster mom why there are not more photo's posted on this hidden gem? The only thing I can think of is this foster mom is relishing every day that she gets to experience with this magnificent creature and the less posting.....?

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
