Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Hello world! My name is Cheyenne and my foster mum says I'm the sweetest girl in the world. I'm about 6 months old and actually very tiny. I'm still gaining weight but I'll get there.
I am a little shy in the beginning and will hide for a day or 2, but once I get to know you I'm all yours. 
I love head to headbutts and will offer them to you all the time. 
I also love sharing your bed with you and will sleep with you as long as you do. Basically I like to be wherever you are. I love sleeping with my human especially on their tummy or chest.
I am still trying to figure out what these things called "toys" are, but seeing other cats play teaches me a lot. It looks like fun so I'm sure I'll join in one day. 
I think I'd be great with another feline companion to teach me the ropes of how to be a cat....I like to be around them. 
I also am not afraid of new people and don't run off and hide. 
With your time and just a tad of patience for me to get used to my new home, I'll be the sweetest addition to your family.

 

 

 

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
