Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Hi, my name is Bug! I was found crying under a staircase in an apartment complex before I was rescued. I was probably in some fights while I was on the street and have a deformed ear and chipped tooth, but I’m just as cuddly as any other cat. I love being the center of attention and am not afraid to ask for cuddles through a lot of purring and love bites. I am good with other cats, and dogs, but may be better as the only cat in the house. I am definitely a lap cat and would love nothing more than to hang out with you all day as you go through your daily routine.

Our kittens and cats are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. Completing a screening form does not guarantee an adoption. We make an effort to match the perfect person or family with each cat/kitten. If there are two names together, those are bonded cats and we will not separate them. All of our  kittens  MUST have a kitten, cat and/or dog companion,  unless otherwise noted.  In some cases, our adults may need to have a companion but read the description as it will be listed there. Please read down to the bottom of this kitty's page to find out more details about its personality.
 
 
We've gone digital! Please complete our adoption application in advance on our website,  www.candyscats.org/forms  Screening Form. If you have a cat or dog, it needs to be spayed/neutered and if you have a cat, it must have a combo test on file in order to adopt. We'll review your information and if you are approved, meet and greets are arranged by appointment. Every one of our kitties are fully-vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $100 - $150. Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
