Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

My sister Jolene and I started our journey together in a kind couple’s backyard. When we were about three months old, they brought us inside and showed us something new—a safe, cozy life as indoor cats. It was a big change for me, and I’ll admit, it took some time to understand that people could be gentle, loving, and trustworthy. But with their patience, something wonderful happened… I started to open up.

I discovered that pets can feel really nice, especially those magical chin scratches. And treats? Well, those definitely helped me realize that humans might be pretty great after all. Over time, I’ve learned to enjoy being near people, quietly sharing space and companionship in my own way. I may not be the kind of kitty who jumps into your lap right away—or maybe ever—but I will be there beside you. I just need a little time, a little patience, and a lot of understanding as I settle into a new home.
