Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

Misty Bleu's mommy has been dealing with cancer and no longer can care for her little diva.  She asked Candy's Cats to find her a forever home and a promise was made to find the perfect home.  We've copied a letter that she wrote about her little fur child to help us all to understand her.

"Misty Bleu was born on 10/27/13, so she’s a little over a year old.  She’s both sweet and sassy, and will definitely let you know when she’s done allowing you to pet her!  She’s a snuggler, but only by her choice, usually late at night when I’m laying on the couch watching TV.

"She’s been getting 3 ounces of canned food every day, half in the morning and half in the evening.  She also gets ¼ cup of dry food daily, half of which is the Royal Canin “Calm”.  She will, however, abandon all that for a some Temptations, so I’ve tried to give her a few every day after her dinner. 

"I have been treating her with Revolution once a month, and she’ll be due again on the 30th of this month.  There are seven treatments left in her blue bag.  I also give her a dose of Laxatone once a day to help with hairballs, but there’s not much left in the tube.

She’s an inside only cat, but loves sitting on the window sill, watching the world go by, and also spending time on the lanai keeping visual track of her squirrel and lizard friends through the screen.

"Since receiving her, she’s been cared for solely at The Cat Hospital in Altamonte Springs.  She was spayed, de-clawed and micro-chipped there as well.  I’ve included their contact information in her folder. She is currently a little over 9 lbs and in very good health.
